27-16-210. Recovery on sheriff's official bond
If a judgment is recovered against the sheriff upon the sheriff's liability as bail and an execution is returned unsatisfied in whole or in part, the same proceeding may be had on the sheriff's official bond for the recovery of the whole or any deficiency as in other cases of delinquency.
