About Jurisio
What is Jurisio?
Jurisio is an AI legal assistant that researches the law with sources, fills court forms, and drafts court papers for self-represented people, law students, and small law firms. Its AI assistant is named Ella, and Jurisio is made by Juris Technology LLC, founded in 2026 in Tampa, Florida.
Who is Ella?
Ella is the name of Jurisio’s AI assistant. When you ask Jurisio a question, Ella does the research, fills the form, or writes the draft, and shows the sources it used.
Is Jurisio a law firm, and does it give legal advice?
Jurisio is a software tool, not a law firm, and it does not give legal advice. Using Jurisio does not create an attorney-client relationship or attorney-client privilege.
How is Jurisio different from a general AI chatbot?
Jurisio is an AI legal assistant that does more than just talk: Ella looks up the law and shows the statutes and cases it used, fills official court forms, and drafts court papers. For signed-in accounts, requests go only to AI providers that have committed not to train on your content.
How do I get started with Jurisio?
You can start using Jurisio by creating an account at ask.jurisio.ai with Google or email, with no sales call and no setup fee. Pick your home state so answers start from the law that applies to you, then describe your situation to Ella. Check the sources, review every form field, and download your PDF or Word file.
What Ella can do
Can Jurisio fill out court forms?
Jurisio can fill out court forms: Ella finds the official court form, fills it in from your answers, and leaves the signature for you. Ella never signs for you, so review every field before you file.
Can Jurisio draft letters and court papers?
Jurisio can draft letters and court papers, such as a letter asking a landlord to return a security deposit. Ella writes court papers on real court paper, and you can download your draft as a PDF or Word file.
What else can Ella do?
Besides research, court forms, and drafting, Ella can review contracts and redline them clause by clause. Ella can also show how later courts treated a case and read documents you upload, including photos.
Sources and accuracy
Does Jurisio cite its sources?
Jurisio shows the sources behind each answer, including the statutes and cases Ella used, so you can check them yourself. Read each source before you rely on an answer.
Which states does Jurisio cover?
Jurisio answers questions about the law of any U.S. state and federal law, starting from the home state you pick when you sign up. Florida has a built-in library of statutes, case law, and court forms. For other states, Ella searches and reads official sources on the web and shows you each one.
How much case law does Jurisio have?
Jurisio’s case-law index covers 8.2 million cases and 61.0 million citations from 1,340 courts across 54 jurisdictions. Published opinions are connected by how they cite each other, so Ella can follow the law from case to case.
Can Ella make mistakes?
Ella can make mistakes, because it is still AI, even though it researches carefully and cites its sources to support accurate answers. Review its answers before you rely on them, file them, or share them. You remain responsible for your legal decisions, filings, and deadlines.
Privacy and security
Does Jurisio train AI models on my documents?
Jurisio does not use your files, prompts, conversations, or outputs to train or fine-tune AI models. Signed-in requests go only to AI providers that have committed not to train on them. Guests who use Jurisio without signing in use a different route and should not share confidential material; see the Privacy Policy.
How does Jurisio protect my data?
Jurisio stores documents with AWS KMS encryption at rest and uses HTTPS to protect data in transit. Jurisio plans to pursue a SOC 2 audit; see the Security & Trust page for more information.
Can I delete my documents and conversations?
You can delete documents and conversations in Jurisio, and deleting an item removes it from your account. Jurisio keeps saved work until you delete it or close your account. Some working copies and backups may remain for a limited period, so email support@jurisio.ai to request complete erasure of your content or account.
Plans and support
How much does Jurisio cost?
Jurisio has a free plan; Plus costs $9.99 a month or $99.99 a year, and Max costs $29.99 a month or $299.99 a year. Paid plans raise your usage limits and give full access to contract review, and Max adds Jurisio’s frontier models. Jurisio Pro for law firms is priced by quote. You can cancel renewal anytime in billing settings, and access continues to the end of the paid period.
Can law firms use Jurisio?
Law firms can use Jurisio: solo and small firms can sign up directly, and firms that need a shared, access-controlled workspace for their own case files can request a demo of Jurisio Pro. Jurisio Pro is set up with each firm directly, and firms can request a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) for health-related records.
