Legal problems often start with a simple question. How much notice does my landlord need to give? Which court form do I file? What should my letter say? Today we want to introduce the assistant who does that work: Ella.
Who Ella is
Ella is the name of Jurisio’s AI assistant. When you ask Jurisio a question, Ella does the research, fills the form, or writes the draft, and shows the sources it used.
Jurisio is for people representing themselves in U.S. civil and family court, such as in a divorce, custody, eviction, small claims, name change, or protective order case. It is also for law students, clinics, and law reviews, and for solo and small law firms.
What Ella can do
- Research the law with sources. Ella looks up the law and shows the statutes and cases it used. Jurisio answers questions about the law of any U.S. state and federal law, starting from the home state you pick when you sign up. Florida has a built-in library of statutes, case law, and court forms. For other states, Ella searches and reads official sources on the web and shows you each one.
- Fill official court forms. Ella finds the official court form and fills it in from your answers. Ella never signs for you. The signature is left for you, so review every field before you file.
- Draft letters and court papers. For example, Ella can write a letter asking a landlord to return a security deposit. Court papers are written on real court paper, and you can download your draft as a PDF or Word file.
- Review contracts. Ella can review a contract and redline it clause by clause.
- Show how later courts treated a case. Published opinions are connected by how they cite each other, so Ella can follow the law from case to case.
- Read your documents. Ella can read documents you upload, including photos.
How to check Ella’s work
Every answer comes with its sources, including the statutes and cases Ella used, so you can check them yourself. Please read each source before you rely on an answer.
Ella researches carefully, but it is still AI, and it can make mistakes. Review its answers before you rely on them, file them, or share them. You remain responsible for your legal decisions, filings, and deadlines.
Jurisio is a software tool, not a law firm, and it does not give legal advice. Using Jurisio does not create an attorney-client relationship.
Your privacy
Jurisio does not use your files, prompts, conversations, or outputs to train or fine-tune AI models. When you are signed in, your requests go only to AI providers that have committed to keep none of your data and not to train on it. If you use Jurisio as a guest without signing in, do not share confidential material. You can read more in our Privacy Policy and on our Security & Trust page.
How to start
- Create an account at ask.jurisio.ai with Google or email. There is no sales call and no setup fee.
- Pick your home state so answers start from the law that applies to you.
- Describe your situation. Ella may ask a short follow-up, like your county or a filing date.
- Check the sources, review every form field, and download your PDF or Word file.
Jurisio has a free plan, and no card is required. Paid plans raise your usage limits.
