Scholar Addendum

Scholar is an informational research and productivity tool for educational, academic, classroom, clinic, library, or personal study use. Scholar does not provide legal advice, legal opinions, legal representation, or legal services.

Scholar may assist with locating, organizing, summarizing, or drafting research-related materials, but it is not a substitute for independent legal research, attorney judgment, academic supervision, or professional review.

You may not use Scholar for client work, law-firm work, commercial legal services, legal representation, or other non-educational professional work.

You are solely responsible for verifying all authorities, quotations, citations, parentheticals, procedural history, jurisdictional status, and legal conclusions before relying on or submitting any output.

Scholar outputs may contain incorrect citations, incomplete research, outdated authority, hallucinated references, or incorrect characterization of legal materials.

You are responsible for complying with all academic, institutional, court, employer, professional responsibility, and honor-code rules that apply to your use of Scholar.

You may not use Scholar to misrepresent authorship, evade disclosure obligations, submit prohibited work, or violate academic or professional standards.

Scholar does not guarantee that research is exhaustive, current, controlling, persuasive, or applicable to your jurisdiction, facts, procedural posture, or use case.

You should independently confirm whether additional statutes, rules, regulations, cases, secondary sources, local rules, or subsequent history apply.

If Scholar is offered through a school, clinic, course, library, or educational program, additional institutional terms or eligibility rules may apply.

Jurisio may suspend or restrict educational access if eligibility cannot be verified or if the Service is used in a manner inconsistent with applicable academic or institutional rules.

Do not upload privileged communications, attorney work product, confidential client materials, protected health information, financial account data, government identifiers, or other sensitive materials to Scholar.

Scholar is not provided with Counsel-level security, HIPAA, business associate agreement, SOC 2, law-firm, or privileged-material commitments unless a separate written agreement expressly says otherwise.

Jurisio is not responsible for loss of privilege, confidentiality, or professional protection resulting from materials submitted to Scholar outside its educational scope.
